“With country music in her heart and performing live in her blood, she'll fulfill another dream of hers later this month as she heads to Nashville, Tenn., for the first time. If she has her way, this visit to "Music City USA" won't be Dodson's last,” - Scott Griffiths, Shinebone Magazine

Angela Dodson is a 21-year-old singer from central Pennsylvania.  She has been performing since the age of eleven.  Although country music is her favorite, Angela has performed everything from Broadway, gospel, rock, jazz and blues, to yodeling country classics.  The list of places and people Angela has performed for over the years is very diverse.  Angela has performed in numerous venues in Nashville, Tennessee including Robert’s Western World, Legends Corner, Nashville Palace and John A’s. Angela has performed for Youth Outreach programs, Toys for Tots, and sung the National Anthem for various sporting events and performed patriotic songs for visiting dignitaries.  A big supporter of Relay for Life, Angela is known for her many performances for various Relay for Life gatherings and her generous donations of CD proceeds to help the Relay fund cancer research.  Angela has performed in the Colgate Country Showdown for two years, making the top 15 group out of 150 contestants in the Chambersburg area in 2005.  She has performed live on stage with musicians from the Grand Ole Opry and, most recently, she had the honor of George Jones’ piano player/band manager accompanying her on the stage. She also performs with several bands around the region but is most recognized with the band The Country Outlaws.  In 2005, Angela recorded her first CD, Simple Life – A Collection of Songs from the Shows and in the summer of 2006 recorded her first two original, self-penned songs, “They Called Him Cash” and “Crash and Burn.”  Angela is planning to return to Music City before the end of summer.
